For every wedding that I photograph, I have one focus; to create a story in artwork that will live on for many years to come. I take great pride in the connection that I share with my couples, giving them a truly memorable experience and making sure that they have a lot of fun along the way. So when the wedding is over, I want to leave them with a legacy.
My Passion
-
Photography is not my job; it represents everything I am passionate about in life. I am an artist who takes inspiration from many forms; for inspirations are not only visual. I am a huge music lover. I love Ghazals. I love Bharatanatyam. In fact, I studied Dance & Carnatic music for four years, something that resonates deep within when I start creating stories with my camera.
My style is contemporary and reportage. I take beautiful portraits of the bride & groom for your traditional heirloom albums but my specialty is in photographing your wedding in an unobtrusive and natural manner, capturing real and candid moments that will document the true story of your day in pictures.
Your Story
-
I find wedding photography such a joy because it is about relationships. I feel blessed that it gives me the chance to meet some amazing couples who invite me into their lives and trust me with their stories.
For every wedding I have the privilege of being part of, regardless of nationality or culture, I am embraced as one of the family; getting to know the couple, hearing about their journey, listening to their hopes and dreams for the future. I am there to help guide them through each step of the wedding process so when we get to the Big Day everyone feels relaxed and happy. It should be no surprise, then, that I come away from these experiences with many new friends.
Our Connection
-
I am based near to beautiful, leafy Wimbledon and I shoot weddings right across the UK. I also travel for destination weddings around the world. I have recently visited Sri Lanka, Lake Garda, Verona, Santorini, Bern, Venice, Gran Canaria, Malaysia and Amsterdam.
I would love to hear about your wedding plans. If you live in the UK, we can meet in person or we can Skype and enjoy a virtual coffee together from anywhere around the world. Until then, please learn more about my style, browse my blog and read some of the kind words I have received from my couples.
Hopefully we will meet soon,
Mayuran Siva
